Marlien is my director-friend. She and I can both spend days obsessing over narratives and politics. We both strive to be relevant. We are both young women who are drawn to active forms of communication. But unlike me, Marlien knows how to make a play. Monica Lewinsky made it into Marlien’s graduating piece.
